Each year, we offer a range of elective classes to our Upper School students that allow them to explore their interests, build new skills, and engage in meaningful learning.
Check out the creative options our students were able to choose from this year!
Fall 2024 Electives:
Hands on: Crochet Club with Mrs. Archer
Students learn the art of crochet—creating patterns and projects like scarves and coasters.
It’s a fun way to build motor skills, develop patience, and foster creativity.

Inspiration for Tomorrow: Entrepreneurship class with Ms. Greenlee
A course designed to inspire young innovators.
This class teaches students the basics of starting a business, developing ideas, and understanding the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. (Check out Robbie holding up a t-shirt they designed and printed!)
Reflection Time: Decompression Chamber with Mrs. Kovack
A calming space where students can de-stress through activities like coloring, journaling, quiet reflection, and prayer.
This intentional focus is for students who want to give their minds and bodies a break. A valuable practice.

Art in the Mundane: Scrap Collage with Mrs. Haynes
Turn everyday items like receipts, magazines, and junk mail into beautiful art.
Students learn to see beauty in the ordinary—creating vision boards, cutout poetry, and more. No art skills required—just a love for creativity!
Physical Fun: Active Games with Mrs. Meaders
A fun and dynamic elective that includes playing trending games, creating new ones, and exploring games from other cultures.
This class promotes creativity, physical activity, and social awareness.

Sharper Minds: Board Games & Puzzles with Mrs. Crawley
Beyond entertainment, this elective enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Students will learn to approach challenges with different perspectives and enjoy the benefits of engaging activities.
