Bridge Program
Overview
The Bridge Program is designed to “bridge” the learning gaps for students. Students who desire to attend Brookstone but are below grade level academically, now have a chance to receive intensive literacy and math instruction.
Students are enrolled in our Bridge Program for 1-2 years to ensure they are ready for grade level content. The Bridge program primarily focuses on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. Our current teacher to student ratio is 1:4.

Bridge Program Daily Schedule
Students begin their day in their homeroom class. They attend the Bridge program daily from 8:15-12:00. At 12:00 they return back to their homeroom class for the remainder of the day. Our daily schedule is below…
8:15-8:30 Morning Devotion
8:30-10:00 Literacy Block
10:00-10:15 Snack and Read Aloud/Science
10:15-11:45 Math Block
11:45-12:00 Closing Meeting

Entrance Guidelines to Bridge
All students new to Brookstone go through standard admissions assessments. If students score 1-2 years below grade level, they will receive additional assessments (Mclass, USNS, and WASI) to determine if they would be eligible for our Bridge program.
