Math Bingo in Kindergarten
Math is extra fun when it feels like a game!
Kindergarteners are building their number sense and problem-solving skills through math bingo. As they draw cards with simple equations, they search for the correct answers on their bingo boards—making math practice interactive, collaborative, and exciting.
Musical Plates with “Red Words”
Learning sight words gets a musical twist in Kindergarten!
During “musical plates,” students walk to music around plates labeled with red words—those tricky words that can’t be sounded out. When the music stops, the teacher calls a word, and the student on that plate steps out. It’s a playful way to boost reading skills and word recognition.
1st Grade
Fossil Dig in 1st Grade
Our 1st graders became “junior paleontologists” during a recent fossil dig!
As part of their geology unit, students searched for various stones and fossils, sparking curiosity about the natural world. This adventure brings science lessons to life and encourages deeper exploration and discovery.
Spring Crafts & Creative Writing
1st graders got into the spring spirit with a fun and imaginative craft!
After following step-by-step instructions to create a paper bunny, students put their creativity to work by writing a list of silly foods they’d rather eat than carrots. This activity was a fun way to build listening skills and practice handwriting.
