Whether you walked our halls years ago or just recently graduated, you are—and always will be—a part of the Brookstone family. This space was created with you in mind: a place to reconnect, reflect, and remain rooted in the mission that shaped your journey. Here, you'll find updates, memories, and ways to stay involved in the life of Brookstone. We hope it reminds you that your story continues here—and that you're still a vital part of the legacy God is writing through our school.
Alumni News
A lot has changed since many of you walked these halls—but the heart of Brookstone remains the same.
This past year, we took bold steps to better serve our students and families, and we wanted our alumni family to be among the first to hear what God is doing here.
We launched several new programs, including a Bridge Program designed to support students who have fallen a grade behind—giving them the academic, social, and spiritual tools they need to catch up and thrive. We also introduced a hot meal program so every student receives a warm, healthy lunch each day, expanded bus transportation to reach more neighborhoods, and opened a brand-new Junior Kindergarten, allowing us to begin equipping students even earlier.
And in a milestone moment, we celebrated our largest graduating class yet—23 8th graders who are now stepping confidently into high school, ready to lead with purpose and faith.
As an alum, your legacy is woven into every new chapter at Brookstone. We hope this update reminds you that the mission you were part of is not only continuing—it’s growing. And you’re still a part of it.

The Academy of Goal Achievers
The purpose of The Academy of Goal Achievers is to provide community-based core mentoring Goal Achievers groups as well as college and career guidance that will empower young adults to be active leaders in their schools, communities, and families, while preparing them for postsecondary success.
When safe spaces are created for young adults to build self-esteem, gain new knowledge and relationships, they are empowered to give back to their respective communities, develop leadership skills, and change family generational cycles.
Our mission is, “Helping high school students and young adults navigate life while preparing them for college or career pathways within a multigenerational approach.”
In November, they will be hosting a Vocational Trade Fair. This is a great opportunity to network and find job openings. See more information on their flyer.

Lunch Buddy
Mentor a student throughout the school year by having lunch with them. Lunch buddy days are Tuesdays and Thursday.
Summer Camp
Be a camp counselor for our summer camp program. Lead students in activities and on fun field trips, while teaching them about the love of Jesus.
Photography
Get experience taking professional photography by capturing exciting moments from events and daily life at Brookstone.
Content Creation
Help create engaging newsletters and updates for your peers by gathering stories and highlights from Brookstone.

Alumni Spotlight
Santiago Castaneda
Santiago Castaneda, Class of 2020, is currently studying computer science at NC State. A proud Brookstone alum, Santiago often credits his teachers for sparking his love for learning—and his desire to give back.
Even while away at college, Santiago stays connected to Brookstone through his younger siblings, who still walk the same halls he once did. And now he is giving back by helping to found the Brookstone Alumni Association.
Founding the Alumni Association
This summer, Brookstone hosted its first-ever Alumni Homecoming—a joyful afternoon filled with reconnection, laughter, and new beginnings. Alumni of all ages returned to campus to catch up with former classmates and beloved teachers, play ice breaker games, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch. Alum Vanei, was the winner of our ice breaker game!
The highlight of the day came when Santiago Castaneda, Class of 2020, officially announced the launch of the Brookstone Alumni Association. His heartfelt words reflected the spirit of the day: a celebration of where we’ve been and where we’re going—together.
