Michelle holds a BS degree in Biology/Ecology from Penn State University and brings over 30 years of experience in education. After serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, she worked as an outdoor environmental educator, using the Pennsylvania mountains and North Carolina beaches as her classrooms. Michelle later transitioned to classroom teaching where she continues to connect students with nature. Outside of school, she enjoys time with her husband and dog.
