Shelley graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She received a Master of Arts degree in School Administration in 2012. She has been in the classroom since 2008 and can't imagine doing anything else! She has taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. Over the years, she has served as a Kindergarten-5th grade reading interventionist and K-2 lead teacher. Her most recent role was a Kindergarten-5th grade MTSS Coach for 5 years in Cabarrus County Schools. She a passion for coaching teachers to drive instruction for a student focused environment so all students are engaged and able to experience success!
